Plantation Seed Wheat Treatment

TREATED WHEAT SEED

Farmers Use treated Corn, Cotton, Peanut, Sorghum, and Soybean planting seed because it pays in stand and yield increases.

Wheat seed treated with fungicide and insecticide (full treatment) usually increases germ to over 95% and gives great control to young wheat plants on aphids that suck the life out of the plants. Aphids also vector Barley Yellow Dwarf (BYD) that always hurts yield.

AGS and most other companies use full treatment on any State OVT test because they know it helps to increase yield.
Using full sed treatment is the first step in record yields like the AGS 2024 below.

AGS 2024: #1 Statewide GA 2 year @102.5 bu/a, #2 Blackville SC 2 year
@127.9 bu/a, #9 NC State Rowan OVT @87.0 bu/a. Awned, Early medium maturing, and Heavy Test Weight*. Resistant to Stripe Rust, SBMV, Leaf Rust, and MR to Powdery Mildew. glume blotch, Hessian Fly, and BYD.

Ask your growers to use full seed treatment on their wheat this year and see the difference full seed treatment makes.
